Revital Vision

Drs. Schlichtemeier and Kugler are excited to be offering the RevitalVision technology to our patients. RevitalVision is a computer program that trains the brain to see better without additional surgery, enhancements, drugs, or side effects.

RevitalVision is:

  • Completed at home on a computer
  • 2-3 times per week for 20-30 minutes
  • Customized to your pace and visual ability
  • Professionally monitored by your RevitalVision Personal Vision Specialist

Blurred vision from the eyes can be improved by enhancing brain processing. Unlike eye exercise programs that focus on relaxing eye muscles, RevitalVision is clinically proven.

During the training sessions, the user is presented with a series of precise visual tasks consisting of patterned images with subtle differences in orientation, size and contrast. Through repetitive practice, the brain is trained to be more efficient and to improve visual processing. Specialized RevitalVision algorithms analyze performance and continuously adjust the training sessions to substantially improve vision.

Effectiveness
Based on science created by Nobel Prize winner Dennis Gabor, RevitalVision by NeuroVision is the result of more than two decades of science and research in the field of neuroscience.

The program uses neural training to improve your vision. Just like learning to walk, riding a bicycle and learning to swim have long-lasting effects, RevitalVision does too. clinical results prove that 85 percent of what you learn as part of your RevitalVision therapy is retained.

RevitalVision for Presbyopia
The Presbyopia Program can reduce or eliminate the need for reading glasses. To learn more about this condition, read this page.

RevitalVision for Post-Cataract Patients
Cataract surgery dramatically improves vision by improving the ability of focused light to enter the eye. To learn more about cataract surgery, read this page.
The change in visual perception after cataract surgery may be dramatic. To make the visual results even better, the RevitalVision cataract program is available. Patients in the clinical trials reported better vision while driving, less eye fatigue, and better ability reading fine print — such as text on pill bottles or food ingredients.

RevitalVision for LASIK Patients
Designed to fine tune the results of LASIK and other refractive surgeries without corrective lenses or additional surgery, RevitalVision Post-LASIK Therapy has shown to improve vision in dim lighting and reduce halos, starbursts and glare at night.

RevitalVision for Athletes
It is well known that athletes perform better when their vision is functioning at its maximum capability. RevitalVision works by enhancing contrast sensitivity, which has been linked to superior athletic performance. It is an excellent technology for athletes without surgery, drugs, or side effects.

RevitalVision for Amblyopia
Amblyopia, also known as “lazy-eye,” is the result of improper development of the visual system in childhood. Although amblyopia is most effectively treated in childhood, typically before age 9, RevitalVision is the only FDA-approved therapy for amblyopia. In the clinical trials, adults and children over age 9 report seeing nearly two lines better on an eye chart after completing the program.
